Mark Van Hoen – Live [UK/US]

Former Seefeel member Mark Van Hoen will present an audiovisual live performance. Van Hoen began to create electronic music in 1980 and in the late 90’s he collaborated with Lush, Cocteau Twins, ex-members of Slowdive, as well as legends Robert Fripp and Roger Waters (Pink Floyd). From 2010 on he released new albums on City Centre Offices and Editions Mego. Van Hoen’s performance will be primarily based on material from his latest album ‘The Revenant Diary’, as well as some older works from both his aliases, Locust and Mark Van Hoen. Accompanying the music will be live video based on the artwork by Stephen O’Mally, providing a potent and dense live experience. Tiny Mixtapes on ‘The Revenant Diary’: “the auditive texture weaves together ambient synth patterns, warm bass, cold arpeggio’s, and several krautrock influences into modest yet rich electronic music”.
