There will be a virtual audio exhibition in the Grote Marktstraat which you can participate in or listen to via the Shoudio app for iPhone and Android or via http://m.shoudio.com/projects/alwachtend.
The phone and web-based application
Shoudio allows for using a QR code to retrieve an audio file and image to your cell phone. Participants will create the audio and visual content with stories, which you as a visitor can find along the route from the Spuiplein to more distant locations such as Paard Van Troje and Korzo Theatre. The QR codes are distributed in the shop windows of the Bijenkorf, V&D, Albert Heijn, Media Markt and Q-Park.
The main project using the infrastructure is Al Wachtend.
Isn’t everyone waiting now and then? Did you ever wonder what kind of benefit it has, besides waiting for the sake of…. waiting? ‘Al Wachtend‘ tries to turn this around. In a few minutes, your current location becomes a visual canvas that’s being enriched through spoken word and music. Like watching a movie, but it all happens right in front of you. This time, waiting might just turn into something special.
