The work of The Boy Toys (Gilles de Brock, Tom Lugtmeijer and Mike Kokken) consists of the documentation of the explicit and obscene movements made by vibrators. At first the result might just be an aesthetic one, but always very complex and unpredictable. However there is always a subliminal message of sex present, which gives the work a contradictory load that the beholder moves and won’t forget.
For TodaysArt The Boy Toys will show some of their previous results but they will also work with their toys on site. They encourage all visitors to bring their own “disco sticks” and experiment together with them. Viewers can also join The Boy Toys to work with
their packages.
