Since the festival we have been quite occupied with recovering, rounding-up and initiating new projects, and we apologize that this post-festival newsitem arrives so late. First off, we want to thank you all for coming to TodaysArt 2012; we hope you had a great experience. We look forward to seeing you again at the next edition of the TodaysArt Festival! In case you feel like looking back, or if you missed something and want to know what it was like, then check out the collection of photos and videos of this year’s edition.
These are a few of the quotes from this year’s reviews about TodaysArt 2012:
TodaysArt geeft Den Haag weer iets om trots op te zijn - Hofstijl
TodaysArt: an audiovisual attack on the senses - The Underground
A lot of positive energy at TodaysArt - DOTS Digital Art Magazine report day 1
Hendrik Weber is niet de eerste technomuzikant die zijn muziek vertaalt naar een orkest, maar zelden is er zo goed over nagedacht en klinkt het resultaat zo subtiel en indrukwekkend. René Passet / DJBroadcast over Pantha du Prince & The Bell Laboratory
In a city where not much has happened musically since the long, slow decline of the Bubbling scene in the early ’00s, the Vortex became the lifeblood for a festival (and a city) that seemed more institutionally-focused. Attracting not only ticketed guests but a layer cake of Hague population, bored Dutch teenagers, the homeless and off-work technocrats all gravitated to the space throughout the day and well into the night. - Resident Advisor reviews TodaysArt with four stars out of five.
