TodaysArt has an ”ANBI” status in The Netherlands and endorses the Cultural Code of Governance. TodaysArt Foundation is registered at the tax authorities under the name: Stichting the Generator.
Donations to The Generator Foundation are deductible from taxable income as the foundaton is officially classified as a charity and public benefit institution (ANBI – Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling). Supporting The Generator Foundation enables individuals, foundations, companies, and government institutions to play a key role in the realization of a range of innovative artistic programmes. The ANBI status of TodaysArt gives a donor the opportunity to take advantage of the tax benefits of the ‘Geefwet’. This means that periodic donations are 125% deductible in the 52% tax bracket. Donations to the fund, therefore, may be placed in the highest band of income tax.
